DSP-DAC NC252-100HF
MASTER AND SLAVE FULLY ACTIVE THREE WAY STEREO (SIX CHANNEL) DSP CROSSOVER WITH SIX AMPLIFIER OUTPUTS
Designed as the ‘one stop’ three way fully active system.
Featuring three dsp channels, two NCore 250W (rms into 4 ohms, full range) power amplifier channels and one NCore 100W (rms into 4 ohms, tweeter only) in each box means you can just add tweeter, midrange and bass speaker drivers to engineer your own three way speaker system.
The two box configuration allows placement closer to speakers with shorter speaker cable runs if convenient.
Extra dsp slave channels can be digitally daisy chained to integrate subwoofers and/or add more drivers.
OVERVIEW
Our new range of DSP-DAC amplifiers offer a truly excellent and versatile solution at an affordable price.
Based around the excellent Hypex DSP with HFD (Hypex Filter Design) software and NCore power amplifier modules means they are a superb ‘no compromise’ solution offering a versatile and expandable system, from simple two channel stereo driving traditional HiFi speakers with passive internal crossovers, all the way up to fully customisable multiple drive unit active speaker/subwoofer setups with optimisable response and room acoustic compensation.
They perform the duties of DAC, preamplifier and multiple power amplifiers of the highest audio quality with simplicity of operation and cost that belies a powerful technical prowess.
Quite simply add speakers and analogue/digital sources for a complete system which includes remote control for volume, input selection and three presets for different EQ preferences.
The DSP engine allows parametric equalisation, room tuning compensation filters, active crossover filters and up to 19.2ms of delay per channel with microphone FFT measurement and graphical interface via a laptop/pc.
Inputs are
Analogue XLR balanced
Analogue RCA unbalanced
Digital AES/EBU balanced
Digital S/PDIF unbalanced
Optical
(All inputs are selectable without any change in set up)
Remote control and a big, clear display makes operation both simple and convenient.
Due to the modular nature of the DSP, a system can start simple and grow from there, if desired.
Up to three slaves can be used with a master to give a maximum total of 12 channels consisting a combination of left, right or left + right (in groups of three i.e. per box) with individual filter settings and delay.
No longer are you tied to a (compromised) performance with ‘fixed response’ which may not suit your preference or room acoustics.
